His Grace Metropolitan Dionysios (Kyratsos) was born in 1923 in Arnea, Chalkidiki. He has studied Theology and has awarded a Ph.D. by the University of Thessaloniki. He was ordained a deacon in 1945 and a priest in 1950. He was elected and ordained as bishop in 1965. He is the writer of many books.
